EH_Arrow_Button_N_RGB EH_Arrow_Button_N_RGB

No, a referral is not required to book an appointment with our physiotherapists. If you have been referred by a GP or specialist, please bring any relevant documentation to your appointment.

Appointment costs can vary depending on the type and length of consultation, as well as private health insurance coverage. Please contact our reception team for up-to-date pricing and rebate information.

Initial consultations and standard review appointments are typically 30 minutes. Longer 60-minute sessions are available where multiple areas require assessment or more extensive treatment is needed.

Your physiotherapist will begin by taking a detailed history of your injury or condition, including how it occurred, when it started, and any previous treatment you’ve had. From there, you may receive a physical assessment, hands-on treatment (where appropriate), and a tailored exercise program. You will also have access to our on-site gym to support rehabilitation. Before finishing, your clinician will outline a clear treatment plan and next steps.

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, as your appointment may include guided exercise in our clinic gym. It is helpful to wear clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated (for example, shorts for a knee or hip injury).

Please bring any relevant referrals, scans, or imaging results (such as X-rays or MRIs). If you’ve had imaging done, let our front desk team know so we can arrange the results for your clinician. You should also bring your private health insurance card if applicable.

Yes. If clinically appropriate, your physiotherapist can refer you for imaging such as X-rays, ultrasound, or MRI to assist with diagnosis and treatment planning.

In some cases, physiotherapy may be partially covered under a Medicare Care Plan if you are referred by your GP. Eligibility depends on your individual circumstances, so we recommend discussing this with your doctor.

Yes. If clinically appropriate, your physiotherapist can issue a medical certificate for work or study related to your condition and recovery needs.

This depends on your condition, goals, and response to treatment. Your physiotherapist will review your progress regularly and adjust your plan accordingly.

Physiotherapists can help with a wide range of conditions including sports injuries, back and neck pain, joint and muscle issues, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management.
